Thursday, Breitling Energy Corp. (OTC: BECC) announced it has made a new oil field discovery approximately ten miles north of Abeline, Texas in Taylor County. The new oil was discovered at 2630 feet of depth and initial tests put it at approximately 210 Barrels Per Day, with an expected pump rate of 110 Bpd. Facilities on the surface are already being planned, and construction will take place in February.

Breitling Energy deals with onshore exploration and drilling in the major shale deposits in the plains region, including Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Utica, and Bakken, as well as others.
